Biblical History Comes to Life

I really enjoyed this episode of Christian World News from several weeks ago in which we see some of the latest archeological discoveries pertaining to Bible times and history. These are the real locations where all of these events took place, and it is a good reminder to us that the Bible is not just a book of tales, but of our history:

International Day of Prayer

This Sunday, November 3, is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. It is easy for us in the Western world to forget that every single day Christians around the world are attacked, tortured, and killed merely for professing their faith in Jesus Christ. This Sunday, take some time to pray specifically for these brothers and sisters that suffer for their beliefs. You will be joining millions around the world praying for them throughout the day (and weekend).
